MYTH OF MAN OPENING THEATRICALLY ON JANUARY 24TH, 2025

Award-Winning Filmmaker Jamin Winans Breaks New Ground with Zero Words Spoken in

Sci-Fi Fantasy Myth of Man, Opening in January

Following the success of his indie cult favorites Ink and The Frame, writer/director Jamin Winans is captivating audiences once again with Myth of Man, a visually stunning no-dialogue sci-fi/fantasy opening in select theaters across the U.S. and Europe on January 24, 2025. The film follows Ella as she embarks on a whimsical odyssey between life and death, convinced she has received a message from her creator.

What makes Myth of Man extraordinary is that despite its immense scope and ambition, it was shot, edited, scored and visually designed by Jamin and wife and producing partner Kiowa Winans on a shoestring budget. In 2015, the Winans' sold their home to fund the project, personally crafting every prop, costume, and visual effect (over 3,500 VFX shots in total) themselves. From pre-production through completion, the film took a full seven years with three additional years in the script-writing and score composition. The result is a film that feels as personal as it does epic—an extraordinary labor of love that showcases boundless creativity and devotion to the craft.

After a wave of enthusiasm from special early screenings in November and December, Myth of Man has already proven to be a fan favorite, sparking excitement that has propelled the film to open week-long runs in New York City, Los Angeles and Denver, with more engagements to follow in major cities across the globe.

"We’re so grateful for the overwhelming response to Myth of Man. Fans have traveled from all corners of the world—by plane, train, and car—to see it on the big screen, get posters signed, and experience the magic for themselves. The reaction has been truly humbling, and we’re thrilled to continue expanding the release to more audiences,” Jamin Winans – Writer/Director

Myth of Man boasts an international cast, featuring Austrian actor Laura Rauch (Un altro Ferragosto, Sturm der Liebe), alongside familiar faces from Winans' previous endeavors including Anthony Nuccio (The Frame, Criminal Minds). Also joining the ensemble are London-based actor Martin Angerbauer (Mars, The Witcher), and introducing rising young star Ian Hinton.
